Fr. Terry Keehan, a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago, is offering a 3 hour mini-retreat designed to creatively lead participants into a deeper appreciation of the drama, emotion and impact and importance of Holy Week.

The dramatic spiritual journey is both Jesus’ and ours, from waving palms to singing Jesus Christ is Risen Today and include preparation, expectation, instituting the Eucharist on Holy Thursday, agony and betrayal in the garden, passion, suffering and death and grief on Good Friday, the spectacular pageantry of the Vigil that we hold on Holy Saturday and the explosion of joy and the good news of the Resurrection.

There is much more than we think to this Holy Week adventure and Fr. Keehan will use popular music, photography, art, film stories and other means to simulate participant’s spiritual imagination to encourage further prayerful reflection.
